PM Modi in Kedarnath : Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit Kedarnath on November 5. According to DM Manuj Goyal, PM Modi can visit the holy shrine between 7:40 am and 11:30 am.

Preparation of PM Modi Visit in Kedarnath

The district administration is already busy with the preparations to welcome the Prime Minister. The officers and employees posted on the shrine for the duty have started reaching Kedarnath from Tuesday. CEO of Devasthanam Board and Garhwal Commissioner Ravinath Raman had already reached Kedarnath and assessing every preparation that has been done for PM Modi. He also took special stock of security of the shrine.

As per a release of the PMO’s office, the Prime Minister will offer prayers at Kedarnath PM Modi can visit the holy shrine between 7:40 am and 11:30 am .

PM Modi in Kedarnath to unveil Adi Guru Shankaracharya Statue

After offering prayers at Kedarnath Temple Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurate Shri Adi Shankaracharya Samadhi and unveil the statue of Shri Adi Shankaracharya. The Samadhi has been reconstructed after the destruction in the 2013 floods . The ceremony to unveil the statue of Adi Shankracharya will also be live-streamed at all the 11 jyotirlingas and four “Maths”. PM Narendra Modi will also lay the foundation stone for the reconstruction project as well.

Prime Minister will review and inspect the executed and ongoing works along the Saraswati Ashtapath, PM will also address a public rally. He will inaugurate key infrastructure projects which have been completed, including Saraswati Retainig Wall Ashtapath and Ghats, Mandakini Retaining Wall Ashtapath, Tirth Purohit Houses and Garud Chatti bridge on river Mandakini

Priest community of Kedarnath warns of protest on the day of PM Modi Visit to Uttarakhand

The Chardham Teerth Purohit Haq-Hakukdhari Mahapanchayat Samiti has announced a protest ahead of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visit on November 5. A priest community has demanded that the Char Dham Board be scrapped. They have threatened not to let PM have darshan at the shrine if their demand isn’t met.  

Kedarnath Darshan Time

The daily pooja rituals at the Kedarnath temple start early morning, around 4.00 am with Maha Abhishek and end at around 7.00 pm with the Shyan aarti. The temple opens for darshan for the general public around 6 am and there is an afternoon recess between 3-5 pm. The public timing for darshan at Kedarnath temple ends at 7.00 pm.

Next Day of the PM Modi Visit to Kedarnath Dham on 5th November, Shri Kedarnath Temple will close for the winters on the day of Bhai Dooj on 06 November 2021. It will remain closed for almost six months and exprected to reopen in second half of April or early May 2022.
