The portals of the Char Dham pilgrimage Badrinath,Kedarnath,Gangotri and Yamunotri Closing starting from tommorrow for 2022. As the winters are about to come in the uttarakhand, official closing dates of the four pilgrimage sites was also announced. These sites are opened during the onset of summers or the end of springs when Uttarakhand is free from harsh winters. Now, these portals will be closed for six months, as it snows heavily in these sites during the winter seasons.

Badrinath Dham Closing Date 2022

Badrinath Dham, situated in Chamoli, will close on November 19, 2022. The day is Saturday and
the timing of the closure of its portal is at 3:35 PM. The Dham of Lord Badrivishal will be closed
for six months.

Gangotri Dham Closing Date 2022

The date selected for the closure of the Gangotri Dham is on October 26, 2022. This day will
also observe the auspicious day of Ankoot that will be celebrated all over the country. The exact
time at which the portal will get close is 12:01 PM.

Kedarnath Dham Closing Date 2022

The portals of the Kedarnath Dham will get closed on the auspicious day of Bhaidooj, that is,
October 27, 2022. Kedarnath is situated in the Rudraprayag district and during winters it gets
very heavy snowfall. The doors of Kedarnath for pilgrims and tourists will be closed for six
months and next year in April or May the doors will get opened to the public again with pomp
and fervor.

Yamunotri Dham Closing Date 2022

Like Kedarnath, the portals of the Yamunotri Dham will also get closed on Bhaidooj, that is,
October 27, 2022. Yamunotri is located in the Uttarkashi district, which receives very heavy
snowfall during winters. The closure date was decided by the priests of the Dham on the
auspicious occasion of Dussehra on Wednesday. The time at which the doors of the Yamunotri
Dham will get closed is 12:09 PM.
