Char Dham Yatra Registration is a mandatory, free online process introduced by the Government of Uttarakhand to keep every pilgrim safe and accounted for during the sacred journey to Yamunotri, Gangotri, Kedarnath and Badrinath — collectively known as the Char Dham. The same portal also handles registration for Hemkund Sahib Yatra.

Every pilgrim and every vehicle travelling on the Char Dham route must register on the official Tourist Care Uttarakhand registration portal before starting the yatra. After registration, a QR-coded Yatra Registration Letter is generated, which must be carried throughout the journey and shown at every registration checkpoint and Dham entry counter.

Who Needs to Register for Char Dham Yatra?

Registration is mandatory for every individual undertaking the Char Dham or Hemkund Sahib Yatra, regardless of age. This includes:
