Chenab Lake  

Chenab Lake is one of the major attractions in Auli. It offers a magnificent picturesque view. It is a man-made lake and was formed for increasing tourism of the place. It also has a skiing area around it where tourists flock during winters. The lake also works as a reservoir to store water for the local people living nearby, in case they need it. It is exactly located in Dang village, Auli. It is 8 km away from the Auli bus stand. 

Gurso Bugyal 

Bugyals are meadows situated on highlands and Uttarakhand is famous for its Bugyals. Gurso Bugyal is one such attractions in Auli. This highland meadow gives a complete 360 degrees view of the mighty Himalayas. During winters the entire Bugyal is covered in white-blanket-like snow and during summers it shows its different shades of green. It is indeed one of the must-visit places in Auli. 

Auli Artificial Lake 

Auli Artificial Lake is a man-made creation that provides a serene and calm ambience. It is one of the most visited places by tourists in Auli. The lake has been perfectly designed and it offers a mesmerizing view of the majestic Himalayan mountains. There is also a ski track adjacent to this lake for ski learners as well as professionasl. This lake is about 12 Km from the bus stop. 

Nanda Devi Peak 

If you are in Auli then do plan a climb to the summit of the majestic Nanda Devi peak. Nanda Devi world’s 23^rd highest peak and second-highest in India. Its elevation is 7,186 meters. It is very popular among young travelers and trekkers. It provides a complete 360 degrees view of its surrounding. The peak is covered with crystal white snow round the year. It also has some mythological importance and is highly revered by devotees.  

Kwani Bugyal 

Another beautiful tourist attraction in Auli is Kwani Bugyal. It is perched at an elevation of 3350 meters above sea level. The place is apt for hiking and trekking, especially during summers. Tourists generally love this place for adventurous activities. The place offers a panoramic view of Nanda Devi peak and Dunagiri mountains. Nanda Devi National Park 

Nanda Devi National Park is amongst one of the major tourist attractions of Auli. It is spread at a sprawling area of 630 square Km. It has been called Nanda Devi Biosphere along with Valley of Flowers and it has been included in UNESCO world heritage site. You can spot different species of birds, flora, and fauna. It should be on your itinerary list if you are planning a visit to Auli. 

Bhavishya Badri 

There are many temples located in and around Auli. One such temple is the Bhavishya Badri temple. It is located in a place which is 3 Km trek from Tapovan. This is home to one of the five Badri temples. It is situated at an elevation of 2744 meters. It is dedicated to Lord Narsimha. The temple is around 20 Km away from the Joshimath bus stop. 

Chattrakund  

Chattrakund is one of the most popular tourist attractions in Auli. It is a beautiful lake located in Joshimath about 4 Km away from Auli. This lake is perched at 3300 meters above sea level. The lake is surrounded by alpine vegetation of oak, pine, and deodar. The place is a perfect family destination as well as with friends. This is one of the must-visit places in Auli.
