Best Time to Visit
March to June and September to November are the best times to visit Kainchi Dham and the Kumaon region. The weather is pleasant with cool evenings. Monsoon season (July to August) is not recommended due to heavy rainfall and landslides. Winter (December to February) offers snow experiences but can be very cold. Avoid visiting Kainchi Dham on June 15 (Foundation Day) unless you want to experience the grand Bhandara with large crowds.
