The Uttarakhand goverment declared the public holiday on the occasion of Janmashtami will now be on August 19 instead of 18. In this regard, the General Administration Department issued an order on Wednesday. In the order issued by Jitendra Kumar, Principal Secretary, General Administration Department, it has been said that earlier under the Negotiable Instrument Act, Janmashtami was declared a public holiday on 18 August.
According to the Hindu calendar, information has been received that the festival of Janmashtami will be celebrated on August 19. In such a situation, the festival of Janmashtami will now be celebrated on August 19. In view of this, instead of 18 August, 19 August is declared a public holiday for the festival of Janmashtami.
