Expanding Cycling Infrastructure: Cycle Tracks Planned for Major Cities and Districts

Chief Minister Dhami made a significant announcement during the World Environment Day event, stating that 50-50 km cycle tracks will be constructed in Dehradun, Haridwar, Udhamsinghnagar, and Nainital. Additionally, efforts will be made to develop cycle tracks in as many districts as possible. This initiative aims to promote cycling as a sustainable and healthy mode of transportation, reducing carbon emissions and congestion on the roads.

Formation of Spring and River Rejuvenation Board

Recognizing the vital role played by springs and rivers in the state’s ecosystem, Chief Minister Dhami announced the establishment of a Spring and River Rejuvenation Board. This board will focus on preserving and revitalizing these crucial water bodies, ensuring their long-term sustainability and safeguarding the biodiversity they support.

Acknowledging Cleanliness Champions: Gram Panchayats to be Awarded
