Uttarakhand will Implement New Education Policy Today 12 July 2022

The new education policy will be implemented in Uttarakhand from Today 12 July 2022. In the Directorate General of Education, CM Pushkar Singh Dhami will launch the New Education Policy (NEP) by inaugurating Bal Vatikas. Here is the Important Details about New Education Policy.

  • Classes will start from pre-primary itself in all Anganwadi centers.
  • Pre-primary classes will be named as Bal Vatika.

The Minister said that all the preparations have been completed by the School Education Department for the implementation of National Education Policy-2020 in the state. On the occasion of the inauguration of Bal Vatika classes, the Chief Minister will also inaugurate the newly constructed building of Directorate of Elementary Education. Along with this, foundation stone of SCERT building will also be laid.


classes will start from pre primary in New Education Policy Education Minister Dr. Dhan Singh Rawat informed that 4447 Anganwadi centers are running in the primary school premises of the state. In these centers, students will be prepared for class one by starting classes from pre-primary. Pre-primary has been named as Balvatika by the Education Department. A separate syllabus has been prepared for this by the department.

20 thousand 67 Anganwadi centers are approved in Uttarakhand. Out of this, 20 thousand 17 Anganwadi centers are being operated. 14555 Anganwadi workers are posted in these centres. Apart from this, 14249 assistants and 4941 mini Anganwadi workers have been appointed in Anganwadi centers.
