Tallital Taxi Association President Pankaj Tiwari said that in 2017 the High Court had banned the movement of vehicles of special numbers within the city of Nainital. The High Court had directed that this rule would be applicable for vehicles purchased after 2017. But the vehicles before 2017 were also put in this category by the RTO office. For the past one month, traffic inspectors issuing challans to many drivers in the city. Due to which unnecessary load is being put in the operation of the vehicle. Drivers are fed up with day-to-day operations.

On behalf of the organization, the traffic inspector and higher officials have also been demanded to remove this irregularity. But the police officer is not ready to listen. He said that the strike would be started from 8 pm on Thursday. During this, the operation of taxi vehicles running Bhowali Nainital, Bhowali Haldwani will also be stopped.
