Mana Village Uttarakhand has now become not the last but the first village in the country.The Border Roads Organization has put up a signboard saying ‘India’s first village Mana’ at the entry of Mana village in Uttarakhand, adjacent to the Line of Actual Control.Earlier there was a signboard of the last village of the country. Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami gave this information by tweeting. He said, ‘Mana will no longer be known as the ‘last village’ of the country.

In October last year, Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed the border village Mana as the first village of the country and our government is always dedicated to the all-round development of the border areas.In a program organized in Mana on October 21, 2022, Prime Minister Modi had stamped the Chief Minister calling Mana the first village of the country instead of the last village of India and said that now even for him every village situated on the borders is the first village of the country.
