On 15 June, 2022, there will be a grand mela at Kainchi Dham, bhowali in District Nainital. For convenience, on 14th & 15th of June 2022, Traffic Plan in the district for the vehicles of visiting pilgrims in Dham and tourists going to other districts of Kumaon Region will be:-

The police and administration have completed preparations for the Kainchi mela which will be held on Kainchi Dham on June 15th. As part of this, devotees will reach Kanchi Dham only through shuttle service from Bhawali. On this day, roadside eating and distribution of food will be prohibited without permission.

Kainchi Mela Complete Route Plan

• Vehicles coming from Haldwani to Almora will be diverted through Khutani Mode-Padampuri-Pokhra-Kashyalekh-Sheetal-Mona-Lveshal to Quarb
• Vehicles coming from Nainital to Almora-Pithoragarh will be diverted through Bhowali-Ramgarh Tiraha-Malla Ramgarh-Nathuwakhan to Quarb.
• Vehicles coming from Almora-Pithoragarh to haldwani will be diverted through Quarb Bridge-Mona-Lveshal-Sheetla-Padampuri and reaching Bhimtal via Khutani Band.
• Vehicles coming from Ranikhet will be diverted from kherna bridge to Quarb-mona-Lveshal-Padampuri to Khutani Band.

Private Vehicles Parking for Kainchi Dham Mela

• Vehicles coming from Bhowali will be Park in Hartapa road once the space is occupied vehicles will be parked in side of roads.
• Vehicles coming from Bhimtal will be park at Nagar Palika Ground. once parking is full vehicles will be parked at naini band bypass .
• Vehicles coming from Nainital will be park at the Sanitorium-bhowali Road.
• Vehicles coming from Kherna will be park until kherna patrol pump from there shuttle bus will take devotees to kainchi dham.
• No Heavy Vehicle is allowed on 14th and 15th June from Haldwani to Bhowali
• Shuttle Buses will be available for devotees to reach kainchi dham.

During the Kainchi Dham Mela , it will be prohibited to have unauthorized food distribution and eating along the roadside from Bhowali to Kanchi Dham. Devotees will only be able to reach Kanchi Dham through shuttle service. No permission will be granted for private vehicles.
